Curriculum and Programs
We believe each child is special with unique qualities and needs. Every child develops and grows at his/her pace. Children experience the world with their own temperament, learning style, preferences, and emotions.
Through the year, we will be helping the children to further develop and expand on the skills and experiences they have already acquired. We will facilitate and guide their learning by providing the care and an environment that is stimulating, secure, nurturing, and accepting of all people.
Some of the broad goals we have set for our classes are…- To bridge home/school relationships by fostering a sense of belonging to both family and class.
- Broadening their language and problem solving skills.
- Helping them to acquire a sense of self…a person with feelings, needs, and a growing body.
- Refinement of their fine and gross motor skills.
- Fostering respect for themselves, others, and their environment.
- Encouraging self-help skills, creative self-expression, and positive communication interactions amongst their peers and teachers.
- Broadening their knowledge in all areas of academics to help prepare them for Elementary School.
